Applications on prescribed form are invited from female candidates for the following positions on extendable contract for Swabi Campus of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar.

Professors (BPS-21) 

Zoology, Botany, Urdu, English, Islaimyat, Chemistry, Political Science, Psychology, Economics 

Minimum Qualification  Ph.D. from a HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field.

Experience:

15-years teaching/research (with at least 8 years Post Ph.D.  level) experience   in  HEC  recognized  University  or  a  post-graduate  Institution  or  professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization 

OR

10-years   post-Ph.D.   Teaching/research   experience   in   a   recognized   University   or   a   post-graduate   Institution   or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Minimum Number of Publications

The  applicant  must  have  15  research  publications  with  at  least  5  publications  in  the  last  5  years  in  HEC  recognized journals.

Associate Professors (BPS-20)

Zoology, Botany, Urdu, English, Islaimyat, Chemistry, Political Science, Psychology, Economics 

Minimum Qualification Ph.D. in the relevant field from a HEC recognized University/Institution.

Experience

10-years teaching/research (with at least 4 years Post Ph.D.  level) experience in a HEC recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization

OR

5-years post-PhD teaching/ research experience in a HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization

Minimum Number of Publications

The applicant must have 10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized Journals.

Assistant Professors (TTS)

Zoology, Botany, Urdu, English, Islaimyat, Chemistry, Political Science, Psychology, Economics 

Ph.D in relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution/ Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized institution. Provided that she must be excellent in written communication and oral presentations skills.

Lecturers (BPS-18)

Zoology, Botany, Urdu, English, Islaimyat, chemistry, Political Science, Psychology, Economics

First Class Master’s Degree OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field from a HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career. 

Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding Institution provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz. M.Phil/Ph.D or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.

Furthermore, the candidate with 2nd division in the Master’s Degree but holding higher degree i.e. M.Phil/ Ph.D or equivalent degree with 18 years of education may also be considered.

Deputy Director Finance (Deputy Treasurer) BPS-18 (Female)

First Class M.Com/ MBA or Chartered Accountant with 5 years’ service in BPS-17 or above in the relevant field in a HEC recognized University or any Government department.

OR

2nd Class M.Com/MBA with 10 years’ experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 or above in the relevant field in a HEC recognized University or any Government department.

Deputy Director Administration (Deputy Administrative Officer) BPS-18 (Male/ Female)

First Class Masters with 5 years’ service in BPS-17 or above in the relevant field in a HEC recognized University or any Government department.

OR

2nd Class Masters with 10 years’ experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 or above in the relevant field in a HEC recognized University or any Government department.

Deputy Director Academics (Deputy Registrar Academics) BPS-18 (Female)

First Class Masters with 5 years’ service in BPS-17 or above in the relevant field in a HEC recognized University or any Government department.

OR

2nd Class Masters with 10 years’ experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 or above in the relevant field in a HEC recognized University or any Government department.

Assistant Director Administration (Assistant Administrative Officer) BPS-17 (Male/ Female)

First class Masters/LL.B from an HEC recognized University.

OR

2nd Class Masters with 12 years’ experience in the relevant field in an HEC recognized University or any Government department.

Office Superintendents BPS-16(Female)

2nd Class Master’s/LL.B Degree with 03 years’ experience in BPS-14 in a recognized University or any Government department.

OR

1st Class Bachelors with 07 years’ experience in BPS-14 in a recognized University or any Government department.

OR

2nd Class Bachelors with 10 years’ experience in BPS-14 in a recognized University or any Government department.

IT expert (Assistant Network Administrator/Network Support Engineer) BPS-16 (Male/Female)

Second Class Master’s/ Bachelor’s Degree (04 years) in Computer Science/IT from a HEC recognized University/Institution. Preferably candidates with final years project in Networking/ Web Hosting.

OR 

2nd Class Graduate having Computer Science as a subject at Bachelor level having knowledge of Networking/ Web Hosting with 06 years relevant experience or having 06 years relevant experience as Lab Assistant.

Office Assistants BPS-14 (Female)

1st Division in Bachelors from an HEC recognized University and having Computer Knowledge.

OR

2nd Division Graduate with 2 years’ experience in a HEC recognized University or any Government department in BPS-11 and having Computer Knowledge.

Accounts Assistant (BPS-14) (Female)

First Class M.Com/MBA with 1 year experience in relevant field in a HEC recognized University or any Government department in BPS-11 and having Computer Knowledge.

OR

2nd 'Class M.Com/MBA with 2 years’ experience in relevant field in a HEC recognized University or any Government department in BPS-11 and having Computer Knowledge.

Laboratory Assistants (Supervisors) (BPS-14) (Female)

2nd Division Graduate in the relevant science subject with 05 Years’ experience in the relevant field in BPS-11 in a HEC recognized University or any Government department and having Computer Knowledge.

OR

1st Class intermediate in Science with 07 Years’ experience in the relevant field in BPS-11 in a HEC recognized University or any Government department and having Computer Knowledge.

Security Supervisor (BPS-14) (Male)

An Ex-Military Man, not below the rank of JCO with at least 15 years’ experience

Computer Operators (BPS-12) (Female)

2nd Division Graduate in Computer Science with 01 years’ experience in the relevant field in BPS-09 in a HEC recognized University or any Government department.

OR

Intermediate in at least 2nd Division with one year Computer Certificate from B.T.E. recognized institution with at least 07 years Computer experience in a HEC recognized University or any Government department. A minimum speed of      10,000 key depressions per hour for punching data entry / verification.

Senior Clerk (BPS-09) (Female)

1st Class Graduate and have Computer Skills.

OR

2nd Class Graduate with 02 years relevant experience in a HEC recognized University or any Government department and having Certificate in Computer Skills.

OR

2nd Class F.A / F.Sc with 05 years relevant experience in a HEC recognized University or any Government department and having Certificate in Computer Skills.

Junior Clerk (BPS-07) (Female)

1st Class F.A/ F.Sc/D.Com and have Computer Skills.

OR

2nd Class F.A/ F.Sc with 01 years relevant experience in a HEC recognized University or any Government department and have Computer Skills.

OR

Matric in 2nd Division with 02 years relevant experience in a HEC recognized University or any Government department and have Computer Skills.

Laboratory Attendant (BPS-07) (Female)

2nd Division Graduate in the relevant science subjects from a HEC recognized University and having Computer Knowledge.

OR

1st Class intermediate in Science with 05 Years’ experience in the relevant field in BPS-05 in a HEC recognized University or any Government department and having Computer Knowledge.

Electrician (BPS-05) (Male)

Matric 1st division with Electrician's Certificate from a BTE recognized Institution and 2 years relevant experience 

OR 

Literate with 10 years’ experience as electrician.

Security Guard (BPS-05) (Male)

Retired Defense Forces personnel with good physique. Maximum age limit not more than 49 years
